•Managing and overseeing information technology and computer systems •Planning, organizing, controlling, and evaluating IT and electronic data operations •Supervising IT staff through recruitment, training, and coaching, as well as communicating job expectations and performance evaluations •Designing, developing, implementing, and coordinating systems, policies, and procedures •Ensuring the security of data, network access, and backup systems •Aligning user needs and system functionality with organizational policies •Identifying problematic areas and implementing strategic solutions in a timely manner •Developing new network troubleshooting strategies to reduce downtime and minimize maintenance costs •Implementing plans to ensure the company's network remains operational during issues •Staying current with new network technology and reporting updates to the executive team quarterly •Collaborating closely with other department managers to assess the company's network growth and maintenance needs •Auditing systems and evaluating their outcomes •Preserving assets, information security, and control structures •Managing the annual budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness
