Description:

Our client, a leading chemical manufacturing company, is seeking a Production Worker to join their team. As a Production/Warehouse Worker, you will be part of the production process, blending/mixing raw materials, and filling or offloading drums, totes, or other containers from tank farms, tank trucks, rail cars, or other sources. You will also assist in warehousing operations as required.

This is not a typical warehouse role. We are specifically seeking individuals with experience in oilfield, rail, logging, construction, or other physically demanding outdoor industries.

Pay Range: $20/hour

What's the Job?

  • Completes shipping, receiving, and manufacturing documents as required
  • Reviews bills of lading for DOT compliance regarding hazardous materials
  • Maintains manual or computerized records to track product or container use/disposal
  • Receives inbound bulk loads by truck or rail car and verifies documentation
  • Segregates and stores chemicals appropriately in designated holding areas
  • Loads outbound bulk hazardous material from storage tanks to trucks/rail cars
  • Ensures proper labeling and documentation for all chemical transfers
  • Inspects inbound/outbound tankers and LTL freight for DOT compliance
  • Fills and blends/mixes chemicals based on manufacturing work orders
  • Repackages product for stock or shipment
  • Communicates effectively with internal staff, customers, and regulatory agencies
  • Handles hazardous/non-hazardous materials in accordance with safety standards
  • Operates forklifts, blending units, hand tools, and related equipment
  • Maintains accuracy in product weight, measurement, and batching
  • Participates in safety meetings and supports implementation of safety practices
What's Needed?
  • Prior experience in outdoor, industrial work environments (oilfield, rail, logging, etc.) strongly preferred
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Experience or willingness to operate a forklift (training provided)
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Basic computer skills (Word & Excel)
  • Willingness to undergo CFATS Personnel Surety Program (PSP) background checks
  • Must be able to pass all required background screenings
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and eager to learn

The worksite is governed by the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS). Applicants will be required to undergo the background checks required by CFATS Personnel Surety Program (PSP).
