Job Details

This position is critical to ensure effective management of the transportation network. It is responsible for providing critical safety information concerning roadways, 24 hours per day. It requires a great deal of judgment to draw information from various roadway sensors. The candidate must assign duties to shift workers and maintain the organization of the crew during demanding times to ensure optimal efficiency in the TMC. The position recommends new policies and procedures and ensures compliance with existing policies and procedures. The candidate conducts preparedness training to analyze points of weakness when responding to various public safety issues.
