Job Summary
Assist clinic manager by answering phones, filing, inventory, stocking, HIPPA compliance and Data entry. Assist Faculty with set up and tear down of lab equipment weekly. Assist in maintaining a clean and functional dental hygiene clinic.
Compensation: $13.33/hr.
Priority Screening Date: Position is open until filled.
Starting Date: As soon as practical after the hiring process. Position filled on an as needed basis.
Principal Responsibilities and Results, KSA's
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - this position is non-exempt and is eligible for compensatory or overtime pay provisions of the FLSA. This listing of essential duties is not all-inclusive, but representative, other duties may be assigned.
- Enhance learning resources by assisting staff and faculty members in deployment and management of dental clinic needs.
- Assist clinic manager with office duties such as answering phones, inventory, stocking, data entry, and scheduling appointments.
- Assist instructors by setting up and putting away lab equipment
- Maintain clean and functional dental clinic.
- Assist instructors during lab with radiology and sterilization.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: - While performing the essential duties of this position, an employee would frequently be required to move around the assigned work areas as well as within hallways, meeting rooms, and other parts of the campus facilities
- There may be multiple/daily instances of prolonged sitting, standing, and personal computer use, which would include keyboard and/or mouse usage as well as viewing a computer monitor
- An employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
- The overall work environment requires the mental ability to shift focal point quickly due to interruptions; an employee must be able to mentally track multiple projects and tasking as well
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate; however, there may be instances of somewhat loud environments.

Education and Experience Requirements Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Enrolled in LCCC classes and Federal Work Study eligible
Preferred Qualifications:
- HIPAA eligible
- Microsoft and Windows experience
- Interest in healthcare or experience in healthcare
- Communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
