Job Summary
- Hours of Work: This position requires a variable work schedule, with many shifts occurring on weekends and holidays. The schedule may be adjusted as needed to support institutional and Dining Services operations.

JOB SUMMARY
The Dishwasher is a full-time, benefited position, responsible for maintaining a safe and organized dish room while supporting our kitchen team. The primary responsibilities will include cleaning dishes and utensils, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and efficiently putting away clean items. Your attention to detail and commitment to hygiene will be essential in creating a smooth and efficient kitchen operation. Principal Responsibilities and Results, KSA's To perform successfully in this position, an individual must be able to perform principal responsibilities satisfactorily as well as possess education/experience, employ the knowledge, skills, and abilities as listed in representative fashion; reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the principal responsibilities.
- 80% of time - Maintain cleanliness of dishes by efficiently washing, sanitizing, and organizing tableware and utensils, ensuring a hygienic environment to support Dining Services operations.?
- Load, unload, and monitor the operation of the commercial dishwashing machine?
- Maintain equipment by cleaning filters and addressing any issues?
- 10% of the time- Organize dishwashing area by sorting, storing clean dishes, ensuring efficient access and supporting smooth operations in Dining Services.?
- 10% of the time-Maintain a sanitary environment by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work surfaces, to ensure a clean and welcoming atmosphere.?
Education and Experience Requirements Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen environment?
*In lieu of the required degree, candidates with equivalent professional experience, industry certifications, or a combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered.?
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year as a Dishwasher?
- Have the stamina to work in a fast-paced kitchen??
