Light Duty Tech

The tech will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of engine components, fuel systems, electrical systems, transmissions, chassis, and brakes, as well as the ability to perform repairs in a timely and efficient manner.

They are an all-encompassing diesel and auto repair shop that works on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles. They are a one-stop repair shop for professional mechanic service.

Light Duty Tech Details:

  • Direct hire position
  • $21.00 to $36.00/hour
  • Full-time work available
  • First shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

Light Duty Tech Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in vehicle repair & diagnostics (preferably in diesel)
  • Strong understanding of engine components, electrical systems, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment & meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with automotive repair software, including Full Bay & Trello is a plus
  • Tools (owned) required
  • Ability to lift and carry tools & parts (up to 50 lbs)
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including confined spaces & varying temperatures
  • Standing, bending, & crouching for extended periods of time may be required
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
