Position Purpose

Safely unload, store, move and control inventory. Fill customer orders and inter-company orders in a timely and efficient manner. Build parts and assemble finished product correctly, efficiently and safely.

Essential Duties
  • Unload material from truck / load material onto truck using appropriate material handling equipment.
  • Unload, separate and check-in product off of purchase orders.
  • Replenish and put-away product from incoming freight and container shipments.
  • Efficiently move product within the warehouse and to/from other areas using correct material handling equipment and following safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts by performing cycle counts, locations audits and consolidations.
  • Accurately fill customer orders using an RF scanner and material handling equipment.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment.
  • Build parts and assemble finished product correctly and efficiently as part of the assembly team.
  • Work as a team to set up and take down assembly lines per instructions from management.
  • Support and assist in all warehouse work as assigned including freight order processing, receiving, shipping, picking / packing and assembly tasks.
  • Read illustrations and ability to follow setup and assembly instructions.
  • Pull and stock components, ensuring stock is available before beginning production runs.
  • Provide daily production counts to Operations Manager or Crew Chief.
  • Assemble cardboard shipping containers as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
  • One to two years of Warehouse experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Reading and writing skills in English to understand and follow basic instructions.
  • Good visual acuity and manual dexterity.
  • Must be able to learn to use an RF scanner, calculator and computer.
  • Able to read illustrations and to follow setup and assembly instructions.
  • Experience and knowledge of electric, air, and hand tools and equipment safely and as
  • Experience and competency operating forklift preferred.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Able to walk and/or stand for the length of the shift.
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Able to bend, stoop and twist to remove and/or place product on skids.
  • Able to use arms to reach up and/or out over head and shoulders to push/pull and lift product and move product from one location to another.
  • Able to bend and lift product from ground to waist-level and overhead to stock shelves.
  • Able to climb ladders up to 12 feet.
  • Able to use and operate pallet jack, stapler, riveter, drills and other electric, air, and hand tools safely on a regular basis.
