Principal Accountabilities

  • Engage in physical activity within a food processing environment, requiring moderate exertion involving bending, squatting, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and standing for extended periods.
  • Work under conditions that may include heat, cold, and wet surfaces, utilizing personal protective equipment as required.
  • Implement automation solutions for plant processes, design and configure control systems, and oversee electrical and instrumentation functions.
  • Develop and execute control strategies that align with best practice standards.
  • Collaborate with support teams to identify improvement opportunities and provide training for completed projects.
  • Be available for a 6-day work week.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Knowledge of PLC/HMI/Controls programming languages.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and update electrical or instrumentation systems.
  • Capable of reading and analyzing electrical schematics.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well in teams or independently and be a self-starter.
  • Pass the Electrical Aptitude Test.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with Cargill.
  • Understanding of continuous and batch process control strategies.
  • Ability to configure and program various control systems including PLC and HMI systems.
  • Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance practices.
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens electrical/instrumentation systems.
  • Familiarity with plant digital business technologies.
