Warehouse Specialist

Description:

Position Purpose
To efficiently pick, pack, scan and ship the orders as reflected on the stockroom order
pick slips or by using a Radio Frequency (RF) scanner.
Assignment may end at any time.
Attendance & Schedule
Must be able to work Monday to Thursday, 6:30 am to 5:00; for a minimum of 40 hours a
week. May work overtime when needed. Maintains consistent and regular attendance.
Essential Duties
• Pick product from the stockroom locations using RF Scanner to help pick order.
• Place products in proper shipping containers using designated procedures.
• Place enclosed orders on conveyor belt to be scanned and assigned to the
designated shipping provider, example shipped via UPS or FedEx.
• Completes filling orders that have been staged coming from the warehouse.
• Place completed orders on pallets and moves pallets to a freight scanning station
if the order is too large to ship UPS/FedEx.
• Assemble shipping containers by method of stapling and or taping.
• Validate Wal-mart, TSA UPS and FedEx orders and product using the PC based
validation program with handheld bar code scanner device to verify items,
quantities are correct.
• Retrieve or communicate to order pickers for retrieval of any missing or miss[1]picked product.
• Place shipping label on shipping container according to customer requirements.
• Prepare containers for shipment using proper Shipping Department procedures.
• Operate the Clipper station to manifest UPS or FedEx packages.
• Periodically order additional finished goods from the warehouse and stocks them
in the proper locations.
• Process returned goods. Transact items from put-away to stockroom location,
physically move the items to their proper locations.
• Using box cutters to open box and remove lids from stocked boxes of product.
• Break down empty boxes and place them in the recycle compactor outside.
• Other duties as assigned by team lead and/or the manager


Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
